I&G continue to support local communities

Following their 50th year in business and bumper fundraising year, construction company I&G are continuing to champion social value and giving back to the local communities they work in.

One of their latest projects has seen the business donate and install an essential extraction unit for a charity in Leeds. Horsforth Shed is a community project that aims to reduce social isolation and support vulnerable people from across Leeds through workshops and school outreach projects. Having opened in July 2021, the project has gone from strength to strength and needed a new extraction unit to allow them to expand the support they can offer people through woodwork classes and engagement sessions.

I&G joined forces with Tilbury Douglas to provide and install the unit, with support of their local supply chain who contributed time and materials at no cost.

Richard Hamlin from Horsforth Shed said:

“Thanks again for your central role in making the new extraction a reality. It’s amazing. I was especially blown away when I saw the ducting. Above and beyond”

The project is part of I&G’s work under the Procure Partnerships Framework and has been shortlisted for a Social Value Award.  *** BREAKING NEWS: We won!  Find out more***
