Retrofitting a building can have so many advantages – you can dramatically repurpose it, make it more sustainable and save money on energy and maintenance costs. Transforming an existing building is generally much more environmentally friendly than demolishing and rebuilding, so you’ll be doing your bit for the planet, as well as creating the building you and your team deserve.

Offsite Manufacture
You’ll have heard of offsite manufacture and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) - it’s where parts of the build are constructed off site, and can make projects quicker, improve quality by building elements in a controlled environment, and give sustainability benefits through less waste and reduced carbon emissions.
The I&G team have extensive experience in modern methods and offsite construction across many sectors, including health, social housing and light commercial builds, and are able to offer the full turnkey design and build package tailored to suit customer need and cost expectation. Over the years, we’ve provided temporary and permanent accommodation in healthcare settings that provide a response to an immediate need, and we use systems such as Structural Insulated Panels (SIP’s), full modular systems, met sec systems and timber frames that all offer the offsite benefit whilst improving the build programme period.
