Completion of £1.9m programme of works to modernise redundant Chapel Allerton Hospital in Leeds

We have completed a programme of much needed refurbishment and remodelling works to Ward 6C at Chapel Allerton Hospital, Leeds, which had remained inactive for over 11 years.

The redundant ward has now been transformed into a vibrant, modernised space which will play a key role in caring and supporting stroke recovery patients.

Dean Simpson, Construction Director and Project Manager at I&G said:

“We worked 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure the works were completed so that the existing rehabilitation centre could be repurposed, due to the rising number of covid-cases at the time.

“All parties pulled together and collaborated well to ensure the project was a success.”
